Any plant with variegation makes it more desirable with its striking leaf shapes, textures, and colors. These beautiful plants are eye-catching and can be a wonder to look at in your home. Keep in mind that the rarer the plant, the more expensive.

  • What makes a plant rare?

A plant is deemed rare if it is variegated. This means its leaves and stems have different colors. For example, some plants have white leaves due to cell mutation. Cultivating variegated plants is difficult and makes caring for the plants more difficult yet unique. These plants can be highly sought after because there are very few plants that are available.
